OK, so y'all consider yourself a new party. What is your take on Wade vs. Roe, Gun Ownership with annual renewals, Mexican Drug Dealer wars, IRAQ War, Gay Marriage, and Legalizing Marijuana? How about limiting the low income families to 1 child per $50,000.00? How bringing back the jobs that were outsourced or face severe tax penalities. How about getting more solar power and solar powered automobiles. How about a flat 10% tax. How about eliminating the EIC and the credits for private school tuitions. Why don't we tax lap dances and people who wear the jeans below their butt? I'd like to hear more about these topics. But more importantly why don't we disallow lobbying (aka Vote tampering/buying) and deal with the true cause of high costs of health insurance = THE PHARMACEUTICALS COMPANIES

OK, I'll go with the flow. As long as I am the VP of Landscaping and you pay me in Pesos. 1 more thing, I suggest the campaign theme to be BULLS ON PARADE in anticipation of the stock market rally that will occur in China.

Interesting but amusing. Just 1 question. Is it 2 guys or 1 guy with multiple personalities? I have a suggestion, why not create a party just for illegals since we already have 3 just for US Citizens. Good luck y'all. I enjoy the Space Ghost the most.

OK, here we go - as optimists in pessimistic times we are known as contrarians. Reading this article, I sense that he is hoping that we get scared, paranoid and concerned and then make decisions based on those fears, paranoia and concerns. 1st things 1st, the following is a statement that we should all agree on unless your IQ is 27:

“There ought to be a review of every program in the Federal Government that is not effective, that is not efficient, that is wasteful or fraudulent, and we ought to get rid of it right now.” = Does that include the Senate and House Of Representatives?

Now, lets get to the point:
1. Obama to ask for another $500 billion for the banks = This is an assumption that can be compared to, “next month, my lender will demand that I make my next mortgage payment.” I sense that there is a lot of worse case scenario thinking here demanding that we fix the economy at $0 cost (only in a perfect world baby). Now where was this thinking during the last 8 years?

2. The greatest brains in the world sitting in MIT = Did Bill Gates go to MIT? Was the microwave invented at MIT, was the automobile invented at MIT, was the internet invented at MIT, was the television invented at MIT, was the airplane invented at MIT? You get the message.

3. We have $1.3 trillion of empty buildings right now = are they equip’d to handle all that is required by an organization such as the Dept. Of Homeland Security plus don’t forget, location, location, location. This will put contractors, builders, roofers, landscapers, electricians, suppliers, equipment vendors, plumbers, glaziers, concrete guys, movers, framers, etc. to work. This does includes creating/keeping jobs, sales taxes, federal taxes and state taxes. What did you think, that the materials to make this building are going to be free? It will definitely create $ movement as the stimulus is intended to do = cash flow stimulus. Yes, it trickles.

4. What about the furniture the Department of Homeland Security has now = By buying new furniture, you are buying metals, woods, silicones, nails, screws, etc. that goes into making the furniture (keeping the vendors going). This means that you’re keeping/creating jobs at facilities that make the furniture, delivery drives to deliver the furniture, modular furniture employees that install the furniture and people to keep the furniture clean and maintained. Yes, it trickles.

5. $600 million buying new cars = What if this brings back jobs or keeps them plus don‘t forget the materials that go into making these cars? What if it creates new industry growth in solar & hydrogen refueling? What if it helps the planet from deteriorating? What if this gets the ball rolling into the next breakthrough in technology. Sometimes, the next big invention is waiting on us to catch up or should we wait on the MIT people? Hey, aren’t we trying to escape from our bondage of petroleum based fuels?

6 $400 million in here to prevent STDs = Once again, this requires human involvement and creates jobs. Though, the people who benefit are our children. You can’t save them all from STDs but most is good enough for me. Funny how most people who disagree on such education don’t have children or their children hate them. It is not a priority until you have to treat it, it happens to someone you love or you get it yourself? You know, “That will never happen to me” thinking. I call it PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, it cost less now if you prevent it than later on when you’re forced to treat it, at whatever costs.

7. $150 million for a Smithsonian museum = creates jobs, creates taxes, promotes the arts. The priority here is that it creates buying of materials, creates construction jobs, creates museum jobs AND GETS MONEY MOVING.

8. $75 million for smoking cessation activities = IT IS WORTH IT IF YOU HAVE TO WORK AROUND PEOPLE WHO SMOKE AROUND YOU ALL DAY. Worse, if these people smoke around their kids and my kids. Far worse, if you have to pay for their medical care once they develop lung cancer or any other cancer.

9. $200 million for public computer centers = YES, the public should benefit from some of the money. This will require materials to be bought to build the computers, people to build them, companies to ship them, people to install them and people to maintain them.

10. $10 million to inspect canals in urban areas = Let’s assume that it will only employ 10-15 people (as the article does). How about the equipment they will need, the trucks they will drive, the fuel they will have to purchase, etc. Now, let’s say that these people discover irregularities that need attention and eventually save lives. This is a national preventative measure that states should be able to perform but can’t afford.

11. There is $6 billion to turn Federal buildings into green buildings = Do the panels build themselves, install themselves and are the panels made out of air? This is not about creating wealth as the articles ask. This is about creating jobs and getting money to move and flow throughout the economy. And, if we can help the Earth while doing so, WELL FUCK ME SIDEWAYS.

12. How about $500 million for State and local fire stations = OK to spend trillions in IRAQ and Afghanistan but not in our states?

13. $1.2 billion for youth activities = C’mon just look yourself in the mirror and watch yourself say, “fuck our future.” What if it reduces the cost of rehabs, prisons, medicine and therapy that might require if we don‘t keep them out of trouble during their most vulnerable years.

I can go on and on but let’s look at the source. Senator Tom Coburn, a Republican, from Oklahoma. Is he hoping the plan doesn’t work alike the rest of the Republicans just so they can be right (at the expense of American jobs, homes, families, pride and lives)? Isn’t that why religious people killed Jesus? They thought that killing Jesus would kill the truth. Bottom line, both Democrats and Republicans are crooks, IMHO. Yet, it is obvious that if Republicans come up with a plan Democrats will shoot it down & if Democrats come up with a plan Republicans will shoot it down. I say, let’s give the democrats 4 years & if you don’t like it vote somebody else in in 4 years. Just don’t sound worried now since you’ve had 8 years and you failed and made it worst by going along with your own party’s agenda. The country is worse and we can’t continue to do the same expecting different results. FYI, this does not compare to the cost of the war on terror & we have still to catch Bin Laden.
